The Mavic gets a little murky in low light if you are moving too fast and especially over subjects with fine detail like trees but if you work within its limitation it's superb. For travel there is nothing like it.
This is the silliest question ever, and if you don't want to hear about it, don't read the forum ;-)
I skipped the P4 and while the P3Pro is easier to carry than the Yuneec Typhoon H its still fills a carry on while travelling preventing much else from going in there with regard camera gear...
I seem to remember with DJI and I have ordered a P3 and a Osmo Mobile directly from them in the past, about a day before it ships it'll show shipped but when you click on the tracking information it will show labelled printed waiting for collection etc. When I ordered the Osmo Mobile recently it...
I didn't specify when I checked, and it was last year so glad they got it resolved. They were very polite by email and explained the situation and to be honest I will go with either solution in the near future.
In terms of bunch of old geezers in sheds then I am not sure if you have looked...
On reflection the separate inspirepilots.com was a mistake, but back then it would have been difficult to know how the industry would grow, but a clear decision was made with yuneecpilots.com, 3drpilots.com and gopropilots.com to name them after the manufacturer.
I do think it might be time to...
I've signed up but I think you should just thave djipilots.com and merge them as there is a fair amount of crossover between the products and a common control software in DJI GO.
If you use that one ask to view their policy, I was about to pay but when I checked the policy it had expired and the company they used was on the verge of closure. To be fair the contact did say they were in the process of getting a new policy but I didn't want to pay any sum for a policy that...
Thats the smart call. But I have three trips starting late October through to early December for which the Mavic would be perfect. If it was not for those I would be waiting before ordering.
LOL past experience. The additional batteries and other accessories are not always the priority at release. If that does happen it depends on how it's packaged, they'll either send the standard package out first then the accessories second when available or they'll wait until its all ready...
Ordered the fly more package directly with DJI on the 27th September at 16:37 UTC.
Should have probably just gone with the standard package as I think the fly more packages might have longer lead times.
I have an answer to your 20 minute time limit as I ran into the same issue. The duration is dependent on the amount of movement between your start point and end point, also helps if you have more than two points. I think they have a minimum 'speed' in order to keep it smooth. Hope that helps...
I think the tilted horizon resulted from the fast tracking of the birds where the Mavic was moving sideways. I seem to remember my P3 did a similar thing early on even after they fixed the tilted horizon in a firmware update.
