    Thailand Drone Laws

Hi Mate, I too am going over shortly, Feb 5, and want to know the same. I've had a quick look around and it's difficult to find convincing information. This seems to be the most up to date: New Laws for Use of UAVs/Drones in Thailand PDF of the info above...

    Phantom 3 Crack Repairs

You'd think that would be the case but I'm still hearing of new owners having the cracks. It's anyone's guess as to what they are doing to correct the issue - if it's just a screwncretorque without any shell enhancement, then the cracks be ongoing I would think. Not heard anything formal from...

Deep discharge to 8% destroyed my battery

Soooo much conflicting information on these batteries. Where is the trusted source of truth? Same seems to go for compass and IMU calibrations... everyone has an opinion, and it's difficult to track down the right one.

    New leaked p3 advanced leak

Interesting thread. 2.7k will mean having a good reason to upgrade as a P3A owner, rather than monitoring the forum in a bid to work out what has/hasn't been fixed with each firmware release; as there is little to no info from DJI with regards to bug fixes. If only someone could share that info...

    Fisheye distortion P3P

Just fix it in post, bro. It's not about the actual shot you captured, it's about making that shot in to a fantastic interpretation of what you wish you'd captured. If you go overboard, just call it art, man. It's what all the cool kids are doing. Get on board.

Flew away! Strange circumstances this time

Well if it's possible that flight commands survive a power cycle of the P3 it's something DJI needs to fix asap, not the app developers. One would expect an power on initialization to reset the P3 to a known good state...not start acting on previous commands...that's just downright dangerous...

Flew away! Strange circumstances this time

App cross-contamination...classic. Sounds like a cop-out. He stated the RC wasn't even linked with a red light before the fly away...how can any app be involved.

Flew away! Strange circumstances this time

Agreed. Plus the OP has been a member for a lot longer than most posting in this thread and has made a number of posts. Not simply a new member that has an axe to grind. Very unusual. I'll think twice now before turning on the P3 before the RC - I've been doing that so it has plenty of time to...

Thankyou DJI for bricking my Phantom with this stupid update

Bummer. Their programmers are really battling on Android. Source the earlier version of the DJI Pilot APK and install that instead.

DJI GO app for Android compatibility with Samsung Galaxy Tab S

    1. 'Play Store' app > Settings > Auto-update apps > "Do not..." to turn off automatic updating 2. 'Settings' app> Security > Device Administrators" and uncheck/deactivate "Android Device Manager" as a device administrator 3. 'Settings' app> Applications > Application Manager > ALL (scroll...

DJI GO app for Android compatibility with Samsung Galaxy Tab S

'Bugs Fixes' (sic) - you'll just have to "try it and see" if it works for you. I have the same tablet...not holding my breath for better performance, but they might surprise me.

    P3P crash after firmware update

Bummer. Contact DJI for sure - they'll want to get at the logs on the P3 I imagine. On the plus side, at least you were being responsible and not flying in a built up area when it happened. No real harm done.

Issue with DJI GO rebooting app mid flight??!?!?!?!

How funny "hater got to hate..." is now experiencing bugs with a vocal thread of his own. If the vast majority of users are not experiencing problems, it's more than likely a user problem or you have an issue with your device. That's how these things work. OR the issue might be fixed in the...

    Why update firmware?

The good reasons are that you can downgrade back to 1.1.9, should you experience issues with the new firmware. A PITA process, but allegedly doable. Forum members say things are fixed in the new version but they don't formally publicize the known issues or bug fixes so members can only...

First stress crack - Whats the verdict with DJI?

I believe the stress crack workflow is: log case with DJI, send it away for 2 months to be 'fixed' (body replaced), fly, and wait for it to happen again. Repeat until your warranty is up.
