Success! Looks like it was the USB connector that was at fault the ribbon was fine. Going to give it a flight test soon see if it all works. Thanks Jason for all the help!

Tried another monitor not a black pearl but a cheap equivalent and I get the same black screen. So as you thought the monitor isn't the problem.

No luck. Did the update, restarted the camera but same results... you think it could be the black pearl? I mean it's the only thing left to test.

Yes there is some rolling if you check my video, the static is rolling across the screen, but when the mode on the camera reaches the video mode, it does stop rolling. Dont know if that helps.

Ok, with the camera on and monitor on, I get the black screen with iOSD data, when I turn the camera off, the monitor goes to static, with no iOSD data. I cant remember if it rolls, but both the monitor and camera are set to PAL.

Well, I have recorded and connected from the camera USB to PC USB using the charging cable and I could playback the footage. So if the GoPro is OK what else could it be? I think the only thing left is the Black Pearl, but that receives the data from the iOSD.

Ok thanks, yes I can confirm there is continuity from ground to ground and video to video. I have removed the GoPro and taken out the SD card to check if it is recording OK, also when its powered on when mounted in the zenmuse, the red LED charging light is on.

The continuity is good on both pins I think. In the earlier post you said CAM pin 2 to ribbon 1 (bottom) and CAM pin 1 to ribbon 2 (next up) And the continuity is good, but your last post, bottom 2 on the ribbon to CAM pin 3 (is ok) and 4 (isnt) So, if the connection I'm looking for is CAM...
