I've read that flying your drone in national parks is illegal but I'll be going there this weekend and was wondering if there were any areas where it was legal to fly. Or is basically everywhere that I can get to by car off limits? I would love to fly it there and get some footage but don't...
Yeah you can see from the picture above that the screw for the props stick up and it sort of digs into the top part of the bag when closed. It hasn't really been a problem yet but maybe over time it might damage it. The good thing is that think tank has an awesome warranty so I'm not worried...
Hey all, I have a P3P that flies smooth while gaining altitude or flying side to side. The only time I see it not smooth is when I'm decreasing altitude at full speed. As it's coming down I see it shaking while it's coming down. Is that normal? Thanks in advance.
I have this backpack as well and my only issue is that I wish it was about 1 inch deeper so that the motors aren't sticking up slighting. It's not that big of a deal but still wish it was slightly deeper. Anyway what size tripod are you planning on using? There really isn't anywhere on the pack...
I was at the Duluth location around 4pm today and I believe I got the last DJI hard case. It was more of an impulse buy since I already have the think tank helipad backpack. When I got home I realized that since I have the gimbal guard it doesn't fit in the hard case as is. I'm still debating...
I'm actually using an old non activated phone to fly my p3p with. It is unactivated but the only difference is I still have a sim in there. I'm not sure if that makes any difference.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am using a Du-Bro balancer and I've balanced my props horizontally. One of my props when I tried to balance it vertically, it was way off. I ended up sanding quite a bit on one side of the hub to the point where you can visually see that it was sanded down...
Anyone? I've already sanded one side of the hub a lot and it's noticeable but wasn't sure how unsafe it was as far as structural integrity is concerned. I want to fly it soon but wanted to check in here first before I do. I don't want it falling it out of the sky. Thanks in advance.
I have a question regarding balancing prop hubs. I used the sandpaper method to balance my props so I figured I could sand down the hub as well to balance. Well, some of my props required a lot of sanding and I wasn't sure if that was unsafe to do. Is it okay to sand the hub or should I look...
I'm actually upgraded a few months ago from a Samsung Note 3 to an iPhone 6s Plus. Since I wasn't using my Note 3 for anything, I decided to use it for flying only. Like you, my Note 3 does NOT have cell service. I just connect to wifi at home in order to do all the software/firmware upgrades...
I'm a new P3P owner and have about 5+ flights so far and loving it. I'm new to this so I'm not sure where I can fly so I've been flying in a big open field nearby. I live in Suwanee, GA.
