Oh and this is odd... it recorded for 16 MINUTES after the crash. So I have 16 minutes of footage of it just sitting on the ground, flashing, while the surroundings get darker. Basically it kept recording til the SD card got full, then finally shut off.

Yes but you have a live battery right? Mine was down to a tiny bit and it auto landed for that reason. Also about 12-15 hours will have passed from its crash to my search for it.

What do you mean by "sync your flights first"? How do I do that if my flights are already over? I want to make 100% sure that everything will be retained if I upgrade. I may try to find it without upgrading tomorrow, given that I believe I've extracted the GPS from the flight records.

Does anyone know if updating the DJI app will clobber the cache and info of the last flight?

I am afraid to do this because I'm scared it will clear my cache and all the info will be lost. What does "Find My Drone" do? Does anyone have any answers for the other questions I asked?

Yeah for whatever reason it only gives me those 3 options, not Find My Drone.

My app only has "Flight Record, Academy, and Store" as options.

Can you tell me where that is? I'm in the app right now and I don't see that option. Does my drone need to be on in order for this to work? It went down with 10% battery about 2.5 hours ago, so I imagine it is flat dead at this point.
