Manual says the S1 is used to regain control of the craft during a failsafe, not to trigger a failsafe. I don't think there is a difference between failsafe RTH and Smart RTH, other than one is triggered by signal loss and the other is manually initiated.

When it is set down on the stage, it does nothing, but right before it takes off the gravel moves, so I'd bet that is where the props were started. CSC and takeoff. Good thing it's a P4 - with all the features, they're like stormtroopers - can't hit anything. Right? :)

Over the weekend I shot some video at 60fps/1080. At 2m19s in, the video stopped, and then it captured another clip for 24s and stopped. The only other capture I did that day was also 2m19s, but in that case I did switch from video to still. I don't recall touching the phone during the first...

In both the posts I've seen they talk about height and night flight and eventually get around to 333 exemptions, which typically do have the restrictions against night flights and have a 400' ceiling. Seems that the NC FAA people are trying to find someone with a 333 violating the terms. Or...
