That is what I use also. Works great, just be sure to get an anti-glare screen cover and turn the brightness all the way up. It's a great tablet to use!
I am only talking about my particular circumstance on that day. So you think a jet is going to fly within 400 feet of the top of a ridge. Let me answer that for you.....no, absolutely not.
Was in the middle of the mountains this weekend camped in between several ridges. I had to fly up 400 feet and still couldn't clear the surrounding ridges. Flew to 740 feet so I could do a pan. I was not over 400 feet over the top of those ridges so I think there are circumstances that allow.
