Not sure why you wouldn't have to calibrate. A compass is different north and south of the equator. Unless the p4 has a special compass that takes that into account your compass readings most likely will be off.

I suggest if you buy a dji product when you download the apps be sure to turn off auto update. Then you aren't forced to deal with the horrible dji "updates". I only update when everyone on here says a new update is working. Otherwise I don't waste my time on worthless updates.

You should be able to rinse the electronics with distilled water. Rise really well. The reason to do this is to wash out all minerals. Once you are sure you have rinsed it well you can power it up. As long as all minerals are washed out you won't have to wait for it to dry out. Distilled water...
