Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'll double check and give those a try this weekend and report back.

P3P - haven't used for a while, now terrible FPS

Howdy. I bought a Phantom 3 Pro when it first came out. But I haven't used it for a year or more. This past weekend I charged up the batteries and controller, updated the Firmware, and took it for a spin. But the frame rate, which used to be buttery smooth, is now super slow. Like one frame...

I thought all of Manhattan was a no fly zone?

By my estimate, I think the pilot is also flying at altitudes of between 1,200 to 1,400 feet (Since the Chrysler building is over a thousand feet tall and he is way above that). Someone mentioned flying over people. Some of the shots are also clearly well after sunset. I think someone else...

Are there "standard" FPS/Shutter Speed settings used in commercial filming?

Is there an app that helps calculator which ND filter to pop on based on the FPS, ISO, and shutter speed you want to use and based on the current EV meter readings and where you need to get it? Basically something to make it quicker to get up in the air and also reduce stress on the gimbal...

    GoPro Hero 5

Long story short, it could be WAY more trouble than it's worth, and also very expensive, to find a solution just to make your GoPro work. But if you simply have a desire to make really great aerial videos, I highly recommend instead just getting a Phantom 3 Standard for $399 or even a Phantom 3...

    GoPro Hero 5

Welcome to the forum! Phantoms and DJI in general offer complete solutions. In other words, they have the camera built-in. The provide the entire package and they work extremely well as a result. If you need to use your GoPro you should look at GoPro's drone, but it had a massive recall and...

Recommended toy drones in the $150 - $200 range...

I'm doing some research for Christmas presents... this person (young teen) already has a Syma X5C and is ready for the next step up. Do any of you know of or recommend something in the $150 - $200 range? (Still too young for a $399 P3S and also over budget). There appear to be a ton of toy...

    Aerial shot of train yard

@Pete Gianakos that picture and video are absolutely STUNNING, nicely done! My only recommendation is to use Photoshop (or any editing program) to make sure all your lines are straight (sorry, I'm a total stickler to make sure all vertical lines are straight).

Help me decide! Phantom 2 again or P3 choice?

DJI has been having a huge sale on Inspires for a while now indicating that they were clearing out inventory and an update was just around the corner. And even here on the forums people have been posting clues about a new Pro version of the P4 on the way. Can you really be mad at DJI? Do you...

Can any drones do stunts like this?

Holy cow, so there are some quads that have variable angle blades. I love that second video -- I've always wanted to see what the controller was doing, and what's weird is I was expecting the operator to need eight arms, but it looks lie he's barely moving the sticks.
