They're both worth the money and they both have their ups and downs. I own a p3a and I'm not getting rid of it when my spark comes. Now I'll just have two drones.

My P3A isn't going anywhere. I've had it for two years, over 500 flights, not a scratch on her. That being said, I'm eagerly awainting the spark. These products are so hard to find in stores that even if I don't like the spark I can buy it, try it out and sell it for exactly what I paid.

I'd look at Craigslist and try to find a p3a or p3p kit, I've seen several here in California where for $600 you get a phantom, case, extra batteries, lens filters etc. Its the extras that really pile on. A 2 year old drone with 25 flights is a really good deal at less than 1/2 retail price...

I've heard through the rumor mill that those who ordered within 48hours of the launch event will likely see their sparks ship on the 15th and another batch will be released on June 30th.

The Spark, being 1/4th the size of a phantom, wil be much easier to fly around in tight spaces, through hallways and doors, and can be flown easily indoors, but the real question is why would you want to? For indoor drone racing check out www.tinywhoop.com, they are super fun and even smaller...
