Pretty sure I have the right connections. What I notice is the phantom output is not a pitch set point, but rather a pitch control output. So this output changes as the pitch of the craft changes. Thus we end up with two control loops setting the gimbal pitch. Once from the Phantom, and one...
Yep, that's the one I am using. It appears to have it's own "control loop" so you can't use the basecam control loop. But there is no way to turn off the basecam control loop and have the pitch just controlled by the phantom.
So, I have finally got my MotorPixie gimbal printed, installed and working! Yay!
Will post some photos soon, and the mods to the plastics I had to make ;)
I have one question, that I'm hoping someone can help me with. Granted it is a question more about the Basecam controller than the actual...
Yeah I realised that I was printing upside down as well..! Seems to be holding together with support.
I don't have an option in my software for brim. Just raft and support. Brim would be nice. I'll ask the supplier if they plan to add this in a future release of the software.
Would be also...
I have a xyz printing davinci 1.0. It's a very basic model but the results are fine for hobbyist use.

Rob.
Thanks for the reply an updates. Awesome support!

Running into a bit of trouble with my printer. For some reason the holes a not printing round anymore. I think a calibration is in order...
Hi,
I think I am doing something wrong with the BaseCam case. The cut outs seem to be in the wrong place with respect to the connectors on the the PCB.
I assume the electronics is supposed to me mounted with the components "inside" the case.
Picture say a 100 words. See attached.
