    NAZA-M confusion

When you connect the bird to the computer and bring up the ASSISTANT SOFTWARE. At the top it will say PHANTOM, click and change to NAZA. Dibs on your bird after the crash...LOL  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0eg6q55jO8

Stability issues - Right turn only

Having issues with stability to the left side (Right turns). In video, you can see how it "hiccups" to the left, but it never does it to the right. Even when I turn quickly. What should I do? Less than a month all. 20 flights total. 340 minutes of flight time on it...

Can you use old school air plane rc on a phantom?

Not a good choice due to Freq. And need new Rx if you did try it.

    Repair problems

Bad publicity usually gets a bigger response than anything else. While I have no experience with DJI, I do have experiences with other manufactures and other items that have similar lack-luster responses with them addressing my concerns. I had a Remington rifle that I needed warranty repair...

    Wiring Daiagrams / Schematics

Inside the controller, each of the controls has three wires going to them. Yaw (left thumb) and L/R(right thumb) the wires are Black, Grey, Yellow. The Up/down and the Forward/Backward are Brown,Red,Orange, but those I will not need. I see a 3.3v between the gray and Black, and gray and...

    Wiring Daiagrams / Schematics

Nothing. Just like the first time I tried it. What I want to know is exactly what the three wire going to the YAW (Black, Grey, Yellow) control, and the Aileron (Black, Grey, Yellow) do. Are they +,- voltage being returned to the board, etc.? I am wanting to set up a trim function.

    Wiring Daiagrams / Schematics

I am wanting to make a few mods, and it would be helpful to know which wire is doing what. Any one got a good lead on some wiring diagrams for our birds?

GPS shielding fix broke my bird :(

One thing I never here people discuss about shielding is grounding. The purpose of shielding is to inductively "absorb" electromagnetic signals and prevent them from affecting a signal on another conductor. This requires grounding.

Better Yaw control mod (how to video)

Think there is room on the front of the controller for this kinda of POT http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/dpt-10k/10k-precision-pot-w/digital-display/1.html I was thinking of going the other way and turning it into a trim with a 3 pos. switch going between L and R yaw and off...

Setting gimbal tilt/lateral limits and gains???

I was in the Phantom assistant trying to adjust the props out of my pics and dampen/limit the left to right movement and I'm a bit lost. I adjusted the speed of the tilt (top slider). Horizontal limited the upward range and the Vertical limited the downward range. But nothing to limit the...

    Ground station with Zenmuse?

I agree, I will probably leave it out and underneath, and just remote mount the antenna on a carbon fiber side board I bought. Funny you mention heat/air cooled. Dronefly set mine up and left the shrink wrap on my transmitter board. I questioned whether that was a mistake or acceptable.

Need assistance with setup - Black Pearl

No..I mean transmitting power. Transmitters outputs can vary wildly with a simple change in channel. I know this is not your Tx, but this video will demonstrate how output power can vary from channel to channel with transmitters. This on happens to be mine, and it is obvious that I should use...
