I just had my controller replaced under warranty and the da** wouldn't even connect until I updated the controller firmware and then it also required a firmware update on the P3 Pro. Couldn't figure out a way around it if I wanted to get back in the air!

Yeah I noticed the first comment was completely off topic. I actually went ahead and contacted DJI. They were prompt and courteous and solved the problem.

Hi folks, I found this thread because I could not get the factory filter off my P3 4K. Everything was a fail until I tried latex (heavy cleaning) gloves. They worked like a champ. It was like there had never been a problem with it being stuck. Thanks for all the good info!

I was at an odd angle and I guess my depth perception was off. It looked like I had plenty of room to stop but I waited too long. Remember, I'm a big time newbie, 2nd flight

If you have to crash do what I did with my P3 4K. Fly backwards into a tree with lots of leaves at low altitude. It fell to the ground with the only damage being a green coloring on the props and my pride!
