    Home Lock FAIL

Thanks for all the responses! Based on what I observed with regards to GPS, I think it is unlikely that my "malfunction" was due to weak GPS/No GPS lock. I think that BlackTracer's theory may be what happened. I was flying toward and away from me repeatedly up and down a large field getting...

    Home Lock FAIL

So today I was out flying around and experimenting with home lock. For the most part, it worked great but at one point, I put it in home lock, pulled the pitch stick toward me and the phantom flew away from me (almost crashing into a tree line). Has anyone experienced home lock failing? Have...

Phantom 2 goes crazy after new Props 9443 R

UPDATE: Well, I'm very happy to report that all of the unpredictability of the Phantom's flight seems to have been connected to unbalanced props. I took it up today three times in three different locations and it flew completely stable. Held it's position extremely well, nice stable hovers...

Phantom 2 goes crazy after new Props 9443 R

Lately, I've been noticing my P2V+ rolling slightly right. Thinking that it may have been time for new props, I replaced all four with a brand new set of 9443R's. Today should have been an ideal flying day. Clear visibility and <5 mph wind. Not so, however. On three separate occasions at three...

    Course Lock Question

That's what I figured... Really would be a nice update though... allow yaw and tilt control but have all other flight actions controlled through ground station.

    Course Lock Question

If I fly the P2V+ in ground station mode but flip the switch to "course lock" will I be able to Yaw the copter around with the left joystick while it flies it's pre-programmed course? Has anyone tried it?

This was scary (and it broke my drone)

Ahh... ok... I actually thought that the proper method was pulling both sticks diagonally down to shut the motors off. I guess I've been doing it wrong this whole time and have just been lucky. Thanks for explaining! While we're on the topic, have any of you changed your own control ribbon...

This was scary (and it broke my drone)

Yeah, I don't understand it either. I had it sitting on top of it's case so when it rolled, it rolled over off of the case and bounced around a bit when the props struck the ground (keep in mind they stayed at full speed until I turned the battery off which I've also never seen it do). So, how...

This was scary (and it broke my drone)

I received my PV2+ back from repair (flex ribbon & new wiring harness) last Monday and took it out for it's first flight today. I went up to a mountain area (Bear Mtn for those of you in NJ/NY). It was really windy and I couldn't find any (read: zero) GPS satellites after trying to calibrate in...
