    Any update on shipping ?

Never got an email with shipping notice, but today when checking the order status there suddenly was a DHL tracking number, while the shipping status still shows "Pending". We're in Europe (have several units coming), and according to DHL they left the UK two hours ago.

If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 READ!

Re: If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 R DJI E310 motors are coming. It's basically the Phantom 2 new 2312 motor in black but..... with flexible, multi stranded 18 AWG motor wires and 3.5 mm bullet connectors. And silicone insulated. Cut those connectors of, solder the wires...

If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 READ!

Re: If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 R My hotglue support for the motor wires. Supports against vibration and holding fine so far.

If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 READ!

Re: If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 R It's still there. Another thread about a crash because of a motor wire broken off of the ESC. Presumably in-flight, but some say could have been on impact. I myself am thinking, how about hot glueing the solder points, as to extra...

If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 READ!

Re: If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 R And how did you deal with the thin motor wires with possible breaking issue? Not talking about heat (since the v 2.1 ESC's seem to have entirely solved that problem), but about the breaking just above the solder points because of the...

If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 READ!

Re: If you just purchased a brand new Phantom 2 Vision+ V3 R I too have the latest version of the Phantom 2 (but non Vision), purchased mid-February. It has the v 2.1 ESC's (all labeled as v 2.1), and of course with the 2312 motors. But... indeed those motor wires (or extended motor windings...

    New Firmware v3.12

Managed to complete the compass calibration on v3.12 after trying a few times. It would give continuously red flashing leds after the vertical calibration, but you can then of course just power cycle and retry. After the second time today I succeeded. Compass data is: Raw X: 142 - 146 Y: 48 -...

    New Firmware v3.12

It's not the smartwatch. Bit the bullet and upgraded to 3.12 myself too, and after the vertical compass calibration (horizontal goes ok up until green led), I also get the continuously flashing red leds. Tried a few times now, same result. But I remember to have had this before, and after like...

Will the Phantom 2 receiver work in something else?

Thanks a lot for this detailed answer! Sounds like a 'go'. :-) That ISP connector coming from the receiver, where exactly does it go in a Phantom 2? Some port on the flight controller or is it connected to the main board? Thanks again.

Will the Phantom 2 receiver work in something else?

Hi all, I have a Phantom 2 V2, with that upgraded transmitter, etc. etc. What I'd like to know: can you buy a spare Phantom 2 2.4 GHz receiver, and use it in another brand (build yourself) multirotor hooked up to X2 on a NAZA M V2 flight controller? Since the Phantom 2 transmitter is a "dumb"...

Phantom 2 shaking/vibrating after firmware updates

Uhh... yes? Can't you? No seriously, I can fly anything in my living room, but you need to be experienced enough.

Phantom 2 H3-3D on to another build

Hey guys, I have a Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-3D installed ("Phantom 2 version" of the gimbal), but would like to utilize the H3-3D in another mulitrotor build with a "standard" NAZA M V2 setup (with PMU V2). Is it as simple as mounting the H3-3D to the new machine, buying a GCU V2 controller...
