Hello,
What if I was at 1.6, install the 1.7beta FW, then go down to 1.5(since the beta is backward compatible), then go down to 1.4. Did anybody try this yet?
Thanks for your input Rob, as what noodle said, is it possible to go down to 1.4 or even 1.3.2? I know 1.7beta fw, can go back down to 1.5. I wonder if I can go down from 1.5 to 1.4?
I hope somebody that did this can chime in.
That's kind of odd, it shouldn't have allowed you to fly. I'm 5 miles out and I get that annoying NFZ. What FW version of phantom 3 pro do you have installed?
I love the phantom 3 pro, but this NFZ is making me want to sell it and convert to Blade Chroma 4k. Is there a work around to this NFZ? I heard a guy said, he installed the Beta FW 1.7 for geo-fence, and re-install the IOS Go-app without a wifi so the map won't download. I tried that but...
Hello,
I borrowed a battery from a friend to do a project. But the firmware on his battery is below my P3Ps firmware, and there's a warning to upgrade it on the DJI GO app. But since it's not mine, I don't want to upgrade it. What are the risk if I don't upgrade it? Please advise. TY!
Mark, it's coming from the DJI phantom 3 flight records. Here's a link by Frank.
Here's how you pull the flight records:

Hi guys,
Just wanted to give you an update, the dashware was a solid solution for Nose heading and I think it's very accurate too. Thank you to Frank D'Amato for creating such a helpful site and gauges & more power to phantompilots.com.
Here's the video showing both the Nose and Aircraft heading:
Hi guys, thank you for all your ideas and help, I really appreciate it. Sage & Mark, I'll try your ideas if dashware doesn't work. I know DJI has the accurate heading information because the radar on the bottom left is very accurate, and the flight records have all the information as well...
Sage you are right, it doesn't know where the front is, whatever direction the quad is going whether it's left right or back it thinks that's the heading. Bummer, this wont work. :-(
Wow, that's good to know. I hope it's not the case for the dashcam reviewer, because we're just launching at a specific coordinate vertically & just panning 360 degrees. Thanks Sage.
Hehe, no I have to thank you for this, this software is awesome. I was hoping it would give me degrees information or in numbers in relation to the north (I wonder if this will be on the SRT file?), but this will do for now. :-)
