I fly kites at Liberty & have seen the park police make people with RC planes take them down. I am pretty sure most state parks do not allow RC vehicles in general. I wonder if you tether the quad & keep it on a 299 foot leash (You might be able to say it is a mechanically assisted kite)

I fly kites at Liberty State Park. I have seen the park police make people with RC planes take them down. Harriman would be pretty cool - if allowed 7 lakes drive would probably get some nice results.

The training/setup vids that B&H produced were very helpful. Much better than the DJI vids.

AFAIK B&H does not have Phantom 3 listed yet. They also have restocking fees. I have ordered many things from B&H and never had any problems. I only point out the restocking fees b/c I just got my phantom 2v+ from them last week. I have decided to keep the P2 .

I am in the same boat. I got my 2+ last Monday w/extra battery. It has not been in the air yet. I am torn. BUT make sure you check if there are restocking fees. (I am going to keep mine... I found out the restocking would amount to $175.00. (15%)... At least I can fly today.
