DJI Go App showing as disconnected

It eventually just stopped happening, and it's been extremely stable ever since. I don't recall exactly, but between continued DJI Go and firmware updates, it all worked itself out. Make sure you have the latest firmware applied to both the controller and the Phantom, and that you're running...

    How To Fix This?

Thanks for the video! Yes, once you've done it once or twice it's not a big deal. You look like a regular pro! One good tip is to squeeze the arms to disengage the clips -- you don't just pry the two halves of the shell apart because that could break things, and replacing the entire shell is...

    How To Fix This?

I highly recommend that you DO NOT cut the clips off that shell. These Phantoms are not like an old car: they do not have frames. The structural rigidity of the entire aircraft is based on that shell -- much like on today's "unibody" cars. The clips keep the two halves of the shell aligned...

    P3P Motor Arm Twists

I think you might just be right. I just watched a video of a gentleman disassembling a P3P and noticed that there are no "arms" inside the shell. The shell provides all the rigidity needed to keep the motors in the proper place. I confirmed by checking some online photos. Interesting; I just...

    P3P Motor Arm Twists

Greetings all, I have about 150 flights in on my P3P. Today I noticed that the two motor arms on the back (straddling the battery) appear to twist when I apply pressure that seems consistent with hard maneuvers like active braking or in high winds (not much, perhaps a millimeter). The front...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

Results: I was able to fly one full battery before the wind became too strong, and had no disconnects. I'm still skeptical, and will reserve judgement until I get several flights in, but as of right now it's looking like I did indeed have a couple of "bad" cables. This was very difficult to...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

Yep, all my cables are genuine Apple. Connectivity seems fine for each outside of DJI Go. The Lightning cables actually have a tiny embedded controller/authenticator chip, and it's this I'm wondering about. I plan on exchanging the newest cable at Apple tomorrow, but for now another...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

After restoring my phone (clean iOS 9.1 install), and installing just the DJI app and not customizing any other system settings, I still experienced the disconnect three times in one hour. I swapped out the cable again (I had tried 2 cables previously), and now it seems I can't reproduce the...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

Sadly I have still not found a solution to this problem, but I haven't seen it happen to either my iPad Mini 2 or my wife's iPhone 6. So, tomorrow I'm going to completely wipe and rebuild my iPhone 6s Plus and will test the DJI Go app running on a completely clean, unmodified OS. This really...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

Tell me about it. I took my P3P on its first vacation this past weekend. I launched from the top of a mountain and flew out over a valley only to have DJI Go drop the connection to the controller 2m 23s into the flight. This time, frantically power cycling the controller and force-quitting...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

Yep, the ability to update via the app was a feature of firmware upgrade 1.3.20. Once you had 1.3.20 installed, you could update even the 300A versions of the controller via the DJI Go app. That's how I upgraded mine, through DJI Go... but the disconnect problem caused it to fail partway...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

Sorry, I was referring to your screen shot and the text that referenced a red "no signal" indication. I have never experienced this signal short of my aircraft being off. I believe my aircraft its still transmitting video and telemetry, and suspect that my controller is receiving it just fine...

    DJI Go Disconnects from Controller

This is the wrong thread. This is not for the "NO SIGNAL" error, which means the controller can't connect to the aircraft. This is a thread for the "DISCONNECTED" error, which is entirely different and has nothing to do with the aircraft.

    Flight logs don't show up

This was happening to me for a while, too. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, I couldn't seem to get them to sync over. I tried it again tonight, though, and it worked -- so I think DJI probably repaired the web service on their side. Try again, you might get good results.
