Good morning SoCal Drone Flyers. It's been a while since this message board has been active. I myself have been very busy with work lately and haven't had much time to put my drones in the air (last serious flight was back in November at La Jolla Cove..........video coming shortly). Anyway...

Joe I'm definitely up for creating a meet up group. There are great locations here in Temecula and Murrieta to fly. Lake Skinner is wide open and very scenic. I'll post tonight my schedule for Saturday.

UPDATE::: So I just flew for an entire battery charge (down to 15%) with absolutely no issues. Tried a few of the flight modes and they worked fine. I'm up and running. Hope this process helps everyone out! Good luck and Fly Safe!!!

I just got my DJI P4A today and after a full battery / controller charge I dug in and performed the firmware upgrade.............via DJI Go 4 app. First thing I did was upgrade the remote controller (after activation) by connecting my iPad via USB cable. I was prompted inside of the app to...

Has anyone here flow out in wine country yet? I want to go out and get some video of the vineyards but don't want to freak anyone out? Any advice?

I'm relatively new to the Phantom also. Been flying around a lot at the end of Date Street (Open field behind Temecula BMW / Audi). Get some great aerials of the freeway and surrounding area. Plus this place is wide open enough to let me build my flying confidence and get some distance...

Just bought my DJI Phantom 3 today. Looking to get her up in the air this Saturday. Any suggestions on good places to fly without violating some laws. Live right off Murrieta Hot Springs and Date Street.
