i have one of the original p3p that was ordered from b&h . gl300a never ever had any issues with either device with any firmware updates. This update what a mess.. video feed all messed up, always disconnects off and on, bird only 50' away. I can't fly on the current firmware on that...

P3p one of the first sold by B&H photo. no issues 45 flights. crashed it the first day out and still no cracks. I will keep it.. Most would agree rock solid bird... I will pick up the Mavic, love to hike and would never carry a phantom 3 hiking on a weekend trip, but the mavic fills a slot...

for surface cracks use Bondic. it is a UV cured resin. Google it. About $20.00 for a kit. cures instantly. good for a field kit.
