Agreed. I'd get the V3. I love mine and it performs like a dream.
If I didn't have one yet and I had read all of the fearful posts about them earlier, I'd still buy one.
Get one... you'll love it!
Before doing too much, I'd be inclined to re-calibrate the compass but take it to a field or somewhere where ther isn't any risk of ferrous metal nearby to interfere.
Then fly again and see if this makes a difference.
FWIW in Naza mode when I flip S2 top to bottom 3 - 5 times it will flash green quickly. When in flip from off to CL or CL to HL 3 - 5 times I get nothing.
Off & CL will set the course (direction it's pointing) and between CL and HL is supposed to set the home point.
From what I understand, when you manually set the HP it should give the rapid green blinks.
I am testing how to manually set the home point/home lock on my V+. I waited until it got 6 sats and then I flipped the S2 switch between lower home lock and middle course lock several times quickly, but I cannot get it to give me the fast green blinking lights.
I am following the directions...
I smell complete BS on this. It would be very easy to "spot" a drone from the cockpit anytime you want.
There's no burden on the pilots reporting these because the "sightings" are completely unverifiable.
