Install went as per the DJI video. I have a Phantom 2 (no hole) and used a Dremel tool to carefully make a hole for the pan axis gimbal motor. I did need to make sure I had latest firmware for both my Phantom and controller. I then had to calibrate the X1 channel. This took several times but...

Just got email from B&H that my H3-3D shipped today. Appears the wait is over. Thanks for everyones responses to my thread.

Update: Just got an email from B&H, they are getting H3-3D's in the next 4 days and expect shipment to customers when they arrive.

You can pre-order through BH but read the terms carefully. I ordered mine through them and emailed them for an update. They got back to me and said they will try and get an update from DJI. But when I ordered two weeks ago, I was told 2-4weeks so who knows...
