Yes, in case of Samsung you select USB as a source (instead of HDMI) and it will playback any media on the stick. Should work with Sony also... However, maybe not with h.265 footage. I was surprised to see the Samsung handle it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
