Re: Do you attach a cord to your Phantom
The best way to implement this would be to get in your car, drive to Walmart buy a kite, drive home, take your phantom, throw it out, then fly your new kite. Enjoy the kite with the string. :D
I came across this thread already and the one guy used a charger for discharging but not charging, so looking more specifically for any one who has charged without the stock charger.
Has anyone successfully charged one of the phantom 2/phantom vision batteries using a regular R/C charger such as a hitec? I have a 4 way charger that I use with my phantom 1 batteries and it works great for charging 4 batteries at once. If I upgrade to a phantom 2 or phantom vision i'd like...
Personally, I'd rather spend less time in front of the computer "touching up video". I'd rather get great video from the source than have to fix it afterwards. Also do you intend on spending loads of money on video editing software to make up for the cheap camera purchase?
I did have issues...
Those batteries cost a lot but I think the idea is a good one. I'd rather have less batteries to maintain, less the change for flights, and more flight time per charge etc. I think the general consumer wants that as well.
Anyone else experience Red LED flashes similar to low voltage warning when jamming the throttle when the battery is not yet completely used up? I experience this when I've had about 5 minutes flight time and then I make the phantom climb by jamming the throttle to max.
I'm looking at increasing my flight time with my Phantom. My current setup is a stock phantom with gopro hero3 black mounted in water proof housing for protection. I am using OEM 2200MAH LiPo Batteries as well. I get around 7-9 minutes of flight time before I begin seeing the flashing red...
I have a gopro hero3 black edition. I was upset when I saw a new gopro model show up but sounds like the only real benefit over the 3 vs 3+ is the longer battery life. IMHO I would say get a go pro hero 3 black for a discounted price. You can do 1080p @ 60fps with the hero 3 black which is...
My phantom motor's all seem to have a different ratcheting type feel while manually spinning them. I've read you can change out the bearings to fix this. Where can I get the best bearings for the motors and is there anything else I can do to the motors to perform their best? Thanks!
