I am keen on taking similar shots down in the South at the Bluebell Railway. They do however like you to keep the 50M distance as per CAA rules for understandable safety reasons. So going over the top of the carriages even keeping 50 M away I am a bit hesitant on doing.

The problem will be if there is a fault it will be no good going in to the Apple store and asking a question because they will not know. Whereas if you go to R C Geeks at Crawley even the "scary" man will help. After service is what I want in any electronic equipment I buy. IMO

I tried again this morning with a fresh battery. And restarted the app this time the Follow me worked fine. Also I could fly again the waypoint routes I had set up yesterday. A reboot was all that was needed.

I did exit way points first as you suggest but still no follow me. I also landed restarted and tried "follow me " only but still no response. It is the first time with a cellular Ipad mini 2 so at least I know the GPS is working. I will try and again with a fresh battery.

In which case he does not have a 6.25 mile range. One way is useless the preparation and manpower would not be worth it. Still it does encourage those of us who think a mile is almost too far away.
