Wibble forgot to say that in the UK you're only allowed to fly VLOS (unless you have a spotter), you're not allowed to fly it within 50 meter of a person and not over populated areas. So not everything is less of a problem than it is in the US.
And something nobody mentioned, check regulations...
4K downsampled to 1080p will generally look better than native 1080p.
I shoot everything I can in the highest resolution possible (even when I plan to only use it in 1080p) for one simple reason, being able to shoot it for future projects. Storage is cheap these days so any footage shot in 4k...
DLOG is supposed to be more flat (aka "washed out") to give you more dynamic range. This is something you correct in post. That said, it could be enhanced by the filter as well. Best way to find out is to take some footage with and some without the filter and compare those.

If the website said they were included then send them a...
Prices tend to drop daily. Just make sure to check the reviews so you're sure to have original DJI batteries and not aftermarket batteries. Those can stop working after firmware updates.
As said before, if you haven't used (or reformatted) the SD card yet you may still be able to retrieve it. And even if you have used it there is still a chance you can recover it.
