Know which way the wind is blowing and how hard it is blowing. Always fly away against the wind so that you have enough battery to make it back. Many have lost their drones because of this and I almost joined them. Also remember Rth only goes 22 mph so it may not be able to fight the wind

Yes I am. It's the switch in DJI Go. I'd like to know what it does.

I have a P4, and I have had the smart RTH switch in DJI go toggled to off for as long as I have had my phantom. When I do long distance flights, I still get a battery warning at ~60% that tells me I need to come back, gives me the ten seconds, etc. Based on this thread, this shouldn't happen...

That's all I'm asking for. They mention a helipad, but I don't think there are any NFZs associated with heliports?

I've looked at the logs. The RTH was proceeding as normal when it started to descend. I had just traveled that path. There isn't a NFZ there! Even if there was a NFZ, it shouldn't have auto landed! That's not how it is supposed to work. Can't believe this. Thanks for help

I know. Just saying they didn't give that as a reason. I'm not missing something here right? There wasn't a NFZ! And even if there was it shouldn't have let me into it, not initiated autoland!
