I want to buy an ipad mini 4 to fly my dji 3 pro using the Go app or possibly Litchi. I asked this before, but I was flying a standard 3 then. I've upgraded now to a pro 3. Do I need cellular or is wifi alone on the ipad mini 4 enough? Ive read the other threads, but found none that speak...

Went to use my Phantom 3 Pro 4K yesterday using my Acer Tablet (android) which has always worked before. Suddenly, the DJI Go app would not open, so I couldn't fly. I restarted all and it still wouldn't open. I uninstalled the DJI Go app and reinstalled it, and it still won't open. Weird it...

I'm flying a standard 3 and want to upgrade to the Litchi app and ipad mini 4 (which Litchi recommends). I will use the mini 4 (when purchased) only for the drone flying using the Litchi app. Question: Do I purchase the ipad mini 4 with only wifi, or should I pay more the cellular addition...

If I'm out in the field with the ipad, and no wifi is near (except for using my iphone as a hot spot), will the Litchi app be able to function without a GPS connection? So, it looks like I should be getting an ipad 4 with wifi and unlocked cellular to fly the most accurately in all situations...

I have not yet ever used the Follow Me mode. I usually recalibrate the compass before taking off. I'm also thinking that if I do get an iPad mini, I may switch to the Litchi app, so should I go ahead and get the cellular unlocked version of iPad mini just in case?

I'm considering getting an iPad mini 3 or 4 16gb to use as my flying tablet for my PS3; do I need an iPad mini with wifi and unlocked cellular or just wifi along? Thanks for any help.
