The cover over the black ribbon cable is missing since I was taking the gimbal apart to see if your fix would work for me.

I just took my broken gimbal apart. It seems that I have another revision. The tilt motor is in the other way around. The camera is mounted to the shaft and the magnets are on the other side. The camera is connected to the shaft...

Tried it today, very very nice!! Had a near miss with a tree because (as has been said before) the P2V+ takes of, hovers at ~5m and then goes to the first waypoint. So if you have your first waypoint set far away frome your take-off...
So, I figured my problem has to be mechanical since all firmware/software updating proceeds as normal. I took the gimbal apart (hey, it's broken due to pilot error anyways) and it seems the axis/spindle (English is not my native language, sorry) is crooked. I think the unexpected resistance...
Can't really see in the video, does it have a GPS signal? Looks to me that the problem is in that neighborhood. I flew it indoors yesterday with no GPS signal, the drone can do some unexpected things while hovering then...

I suppose the best way to get it straightened would be to take the gimbal off and then the plate and bend it back straight. I'll try that later if there is no other solution.

Received my very own P2V+ yesterday and got a couple of hours with it. Very happy of course.
Unfortunately I managed to crash it into a tree today (pilot error). Apart from a little bent in the frame the gimbal is hanging from (so not the gimbal itself) everything appears to be fine...
