You need an Android or iphone for the apps. The Stream 7 can be used as an inexpensive device to install the Phantom and RC assistant software.

I have a Galaxy Tab 4, 10.1". Only wifi, but it does have GPS. I'm using the Ultimate Flight app, and having good results with it.

That isn't DJI's no fly zone map. Although national parks, military installations, and areas designated as temporary no fly zones are indeed no fly zones, the only thing hard coded in the software is airports.
