im losing video at 50 feet away too... i use ipad air 2 wifi only (with or without wifi turned on). it used to work perfectly in the test location.. i have many recordings of the are and yesterday it was impossible to keep a stable video feed

my VPS doesnt work correctly.. its been 25 days like that and dji doesnt care... it would have taken them 10 minutes to release 1.1.9 or 1.1.8 with a greater fw number so that whoever needed it could "downgrade"....if they couldnt find a fix then the least they could do was allowing people to...

dont do it.. i just learned my lesson... my p3p vps is not working anymore and i havent found any improvement in the new version

same here on my P3P.. it drifts horizontally and also doesnt hold height when few inches from ground (it either goes up or lands)

imu calibration + gimbal auto calibration (on a perfect level siuface) did not helpme.... still have -1 degree horizon tilt also noticed on my unit and on a friends one that the camera points slightly to the left when the p3 is standind still on the level surface

Pea´s post is BS... i tried connecting the usb to windows7 and windows 8.1 and i got a "DJI Controller" device with unknown driver..... then tried connecting to osx and i git a usb tty .. tried all the most common baud rates with no luck... the port is silent.....

i flew today 1100m@100m high with a CE unit.. not a single frame drop... butter smooth..

thats correct... this is not conclusive at all... just an observation.... it would help if someone who received a production US unit can tell us if its TX beeps once or twice

this guy got one in UK and his controller beeps once..... not like mohans that beeps twice... interesting... looks like dji sets the power to CE at the factory and not by gps as they claimed

has anybody tested the range for a production unit in europe?
