I had the same problem with a P3 standard that may have hit the same tree as the one that you are working on! The problem was the logic board at the top of the gimbal assembly.
I had purchased a cheap cable from Amazon to replace this one which didn’t work. The first 6 digits were not on the cheap cable. The replacement DJI cable that I got has identical numbers on it to the original one.
I used a Phantom 3 standard for my build. The kit was purchased on Amazon. It took me around 12 hours to disassemble and reassemble. It looks awesome in flight!

Save your money, Chris. I had tried a cheap one from China, it didn’t work! Been there, done that! Most of the reviews on Amazon say the same thing.

I have the same problem with a Phantom 3 standard that was given to me crashed. I replaced the gimbal ribbon cable with a cheap one , which solved the chicken dance of the gimbal, then replaced it with a DJI cable. This solved my video transmission problems for about 10 flights when I lost video...
