on a side note, is there a website or something that can tell you what your wind speeds are for you area at ground level and at certain heights? The wind can always be a lot stronger higher up than at ground level.

I took a look at my txt flight logs and it shows the P3A was in P-gps mode the whole time. Started out with 15 satellites and ended up with 19 for most of the flight. Where it shows speed on the chart is that vertical or horizontal speed? It doesn't show any errors or anything.

How strong would the wind have to be to be able to blow the P3A away? Cant these things hold there own pretty well? I mean it is possible that as I was bringing it down that the wind speed may have decreased allowing it to come back

Does flying when it is dark out somehow mess with the vision position system?

I just watched my flight under the flight records. I was flying straight up and about 390ft the HS went to about 2m/s and I wasn't touching the right controller stick at all. I was in P-gps mode. I finally noticed at about 600 feet away and hit the RTH button but it kept going to about 637 feet...

is there any limitations that the new firmware has that my 1.4.10+ wouldn't have?

Just got my new p3 advanced up and going. It is running firmware version 1.4.10+ and the remote control is running 1.4.30+. Is it ok to leave them at this firmware version? is there any advantages to leaving the older firmware on ?

Was just looking into getting a gimbal saver. There is the killerrc one that I was looking at but I also found some on amazon that are made of cnc aluminum as well but instead of it being one sold piece it is two pieces and you screw the arm that goes around the front of it onto the backing...

I just ordered the polar pro gimbal guard, leg extensions, 3 pack of filters and the camera cover/gimbal lock. Last thing I want to order is the Gimbal Saver by killer rc and then I should be set.

I was looking at picking up the polar pro gimbal guard, has anyone here used this before and is it any good? I was thinking of getting that and the polar pro landing gear.

I was going to get a set of the polarpro filters for my P3A and was wondering if they need to be counter balanced at all?
