So I've just received my repaired Phantom and so the situation has been resolved. Here are a few dates and stats:
1- Drone was mailed on June 16th, arrived at the destination on the 20th (4 days)
2- Drone remained in the post office purgatory until June 26th (6 days, 10 total). Meaning they...
Turns out the problem was a faulty Wifi module inside the Phantom. I just received my repaired Phantom and the feed works perfectly. I've documented my return experience here, I'll update with the resolution momentarily. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19559
I think there's a very wide margin between being treated like royalty and being left in the dark for three weeks.
For the record, I finally heard from the store. I left a public message on their facebook page. Nothing dramatic or aggressive. Just saying I had sent a few messages and wanted...
I agree with the Holiday statement. I returned my Phantom the day after receiving my RMA. If the dealer was going to be on holidays, he should've mentioned it with the RMA, or on its website/twitter/facebook page. I would've held on to my unit for a few weeks. It was still working in every...
Website is online. I sent them the unit the day after they issued an RMA. If there was a chance they might be on vacation that info would've been nice to have as they issued the RMA. I would've hold on to the unit until they returned.
I just wanted to share my experience with returning my PV+ for repairs and how stressful it has been so far. I won't name the store I bought it from until the matter is resolved.
A bit of history, I got my PV+ around May 1st, noticed that I was not getting any FPV feed at all on it. My...
I returned my unit last week. Most of you are not describing my original problem (no FPV at all, ever) so I shipped it back to the store for servicing. That being said, there's an app update live since this morning. Curious to see if it makes things better at all for FPV and such. From the...
Well on Android there is no delay in app release and an update is nowhere to be found. Not very hopeful. Also, for me I've never seen a single frame of FPV ever since I got the phantom. I've tried several devices, of which must have been reset several times. Again, not very hopeful :-\

I just tried v39 on a rooted very old HTC Desire hacked to Ice Cream Sandwich. It doesn't crash but I get a black screen, not a single image from the feed. All other functions work.
I just tried v39 on a New Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus running CM. Same as reynoldsyoung, as soon as I tap "Camera", app crashes out.

Thanks for the update. I think the main difference with my situation is that for the four or five times I've flown it, I've never once seen anything in the FPV view. But from what I gather from your post it feels like I should do a special witchcraft dance before taking it out next time...
