Went to a National Park last weekend, into the deep woods where there is not satellite signal to pick up. Realized it when the drone started drifting to the left when it should have been (in my mind) hovering in place. I almost hit a tree. Be careful. I am also very nervous when flying it closer...

Tis a shame the App doesn't allow you to make the Phantom emit the same kind of beeping it does on startup. Then you could let it beep while you look for it.

Is it safe to fly with just the wifi model? It seems to pick up the satellites. I usually get between 14 and 17 connecting.

My extra battery is coming from China and is expected to arrive tomorrow by end of day. This was ordered as the Phantom 3 Professional with extra battery back on May 8th.

I bought an iPad mini 3 new from Best Buy, ($85 off) and it works perfectly.

Why is it important for additional batteries? Please explain.
