6000' at 200' of altitude is pretty good. Run it up to 400' and youll get more range. And, of course, range is dependent on your location, terrain, weather, etc.

The iPad Air supports GPS GLONASS. The Dual 150 doesn't. The 160 does. I'm not a GPS expert but when DJI added GLONASS to the Phantom 3 I have a lot more satellites available now.

I have an iPad Air 2 (wifi only) that I've been using with the Go app. Ordered mini 4 with cellular to get GPS. Hopefully, the screen size is adequate or I'll have to get another Air 2 but with cellular.

No way these are having any appreciable impact. The connections will have the most loss. If the cables were ran directly from the RC board and soldered directly to the antenna then that would be beneficial.

Really bummed this isn't for iOS. This must be how most android users feel. 80% of app revenue comes through the iOS ecosystem in spite of market share.

Another update. Had great weather and pushed out to 15k feet today (FPVLR boosted v2) before getting weak signal. What battery mods are recommended? Any DIY options?

Switched from v1 to v2 FPVLR antenna (boosted). Range is improved by over 20%. In one area I was getting out to 10,000ft with v1 and made it to 12,500ft before turning back because of battery anxiety.

English isn't that difficult, yet you seem unable to write it. The app creator said waypoints are coming. Relax. I suspects it's harder than you think. The reality is in-app purchases sell better than up-front pricing.

You understand aircraft fly at those altitudes right? A drone through the window of a small Cessna 142 wouldn't be pleasant for the pilot.

I have both the DBSMods ITElite and FPVLR Advanced Kit. My area is pretty challenging. Lots of trees, powers lines, rolling hills, and houses in various areas. My testing is from my backyard following the same path out and back at 395 feet of altitude. Stock: 2k-4k feet. DBMods: Solid...
