Does anybody have a link for the thread with pictures on how to tape over the power leads on the ribbon cable to the USB plug? I know they're here somewhere (used to be stickied back in the day) but I can't turn them up in a search.
I don't have have any links handy for you I'm afraid. Have you tried just using P2 props and a bigger batt before going through all that trouble and expense?
The older model (9443) isn't bad, the 9450's just give a little more lift. They're each stamped clearly so you can tell them apart but you can mark either set if you want to be sure. I own both types and use each as often as the other.
Yep, and based on the symptoms and the fact it behaved once you did calibrate the compass I'd feel pretty confident that was the issue. Sounds like you experienced the classic Toilet Bowl Effect (TBE).

CityZen has the right advice for the controls issue, and you can ignore the "MC too hot" message, old bug in the software.
Thread moved to classifieds section.
I have an H3-2D I just repaired that I could sell...should be ready to go tomorrow. But, are you sure yours is a total write-off? Is the X-shaped mounting bracket broken too?

Yeah that's def a knockoff. I didn't realize anybody had copied the FPV hub, or that enough of those are sold to make it worth the effort to do so
