I use a futaba t8 on the phantom an very happy with it , I'm hoping I can just get another futaba rx for the f550 an keep both :D Like you I can't wait now to get it ! I live right on the coast so it's always windy , too windy for the phantom a lot of the time an the f550 seems more stable...

max ascent is 705 ft after looking on google earth im 284ft above sea level .i though it was less than that

I was looking on the flytrex site an a guy got over 4k , I guess like you say it must depend on where you are at sea level ? I'm prob 10-20ft above sea level as I'm right on the coast , I didn't know our legal alt level :oops: I'm not interested in high flying anyway as I was just testing...

Did you change the tx settings in naza assistant ? The stock tx is set too PPM , you need to change that too D-Bus . Then don't forget to re calibrate the futaba :D

Like you I will be using fat shark goggles , so I'm interested in more power too .if you find anything let me know :D

Don't think so ,not noticed anything as yet, saying that was only last night I found the two timers :lol: I guess it's case of remembering what setting your in an what toggle position you programmed it .
