Quad copper is fine but just lost video connection still came back home when hit return to home with no issue

No we took off from our driveway and tried flying around the block there are trees and houses, should I have been higher than 100 feet up

About 150 feet up and about a third of a mile away

I have never had this happen before although it's only my 5th time flying so what can I do or is there anything I can do

in mid flight my controller says weak or lost video signal and the video comes thru my iPad glitchy I have a phantoms 3 professional I have all my updates good , but it is windy outside does that have anything to do with my issue
