My flyaway and recover had something to do with another friend flying his 450 with his FPV on 5.8ghz/Fatshark.. As I was flying in ATTI mode, he had turn on his FPV transmitter/receiver and my vision+ went left... when I panicked and yelled flyaway, he had turned off the Fatshark and onboard...

Seems to be two or even three different GPS puck versions? I don't think the Vision GPS part is compatible with the Vision+ GPS part.. they look really similar but the Vision has that extra cable/connector. So which GPS part is for the Vision+? The Part 1 from the Phantom 2? I've looked...

I had the same issue too..

I do both.. I start with GPS home lock test then sending it up wind in ATTI mode and let it glide back to your general direction in the wind..filming.. or back at high speed.. It's good to learn how to fly in ATTI mode and use the GPS if you lose orientation..and need it back..
