I didnt have any problems and from what I've read, usually the phone or tablet will shut down before the quad.. I spend a lot of time at Salton Sea (I was the first person to ever walk around it's shoreline) and in summer it can hit 120°F.. I havn't had the quad there on the SUPER hot days, but...

We learned our lesson.. Hit 108°F in Moab and it was so windy most of the time I couldn't put the bird up or when it was up it was blowing all over..

We were just up there a few weeks ago and got some video as well - I KNEW I should have stopped at the solar array but was worried that if I flew the drone too close it would melt!

Isn't there a county beach right next to HB? Just go there to take off/land, fly where you want, and stay away from the crowds.

Are you viewing the images in the DJI app on your phone/tablet or getting them off the SD-Card?

editing is never 'fun' ..

I was disappointed with the iPad app and went back to just viewing the forum in Safari.. Biggest issue was no way to view "new"/active threads (at least that I could find).. Seems like a lot of wasted space on the entire right-side as well.. No biggie, Safari version works great.
