I believe the second photo is showing object avoidance. The 7.0m being the distance from the tree. If you look above the 7.0m there is an arc of coloured bars similar to the parking sensor display on many cars.

This seems a risky statement for DJI to make. I'd read that as a guarantee you'd never lose prop no matter what you did. Anyone who's lost a phantom 3 due to throwing a prop should be able to make a claim against DJI based on that statement.

I think putting on your props is the least of your worries in geting set up to fly. I think setting up your controller with your choice of screen could be far more challenging in a difficult environment, and I haven't seen a case that fits a controller with a screen already mounted.

You might be able to make them fit by cutting a slot in the four upstands.

Are you moving any of the control sticks whilst it is performing the orbit? When I've done a poi orbit it has performed flawlessly. You can alter the height, distance from object and direction the camera is looking by moving the control sticks whilst the drone is circling.

I cant comment on other country's rules but here in the uk we have rules that are specific to drones fitted with cameras. Are these just for safety or more for protecting privacy? I think privacy plays a part, or else why would those additional rules only apply to drones with a camera fitted...
