The FAA has a PUBLIC search tool that allows anyone to look at your info!

Does anyone find it strange "The Suburban Hippie" signs up today and the first thing he starts in on is the FAA registration of "drones"? This guy definitely has some type of agenda...like steering people to his "channel". And according to him, "I will register by February 19th,..." Who knows if...

Mission Planner (FPV Camera – iOS Waypoints App) Available Now

PVFlyer has been pretty conscientious about posting notifications here and I, because I use the iOS based app, learn of available updates through iTunes. The latest posting of steps to take before flying "mission planner" is very useful.

Mission Planner (FPV Camera – iOS Waypoints App) Available Now

I was not being critical of you or the app, merely reiterating the steps that I take when listing an action or multiple actions for a waypoint. Just wanted to make sure I had it correct and add to the thread to address Fast13's question which I believe used the word "wait" instead of "stay". I...

Mission Planner (FPV Camera – iOS Waypoints App) Available Now

When I am at this dialog box for a waypoint, I found you can add an action, say "stay", and press the "set" button. Then you can select "add action" and add another action, like "take photo", and again press the "set" button. Both actions are then saved for that waypoint. By the way, when you...

Nice to have affirmation it was not just something I did. Other than that I found mission planner stable so far.

Mission Planner (FPV Camera – iOS Waypoints App) Available Now

PVFlyer, After upgrading firmware on the aircraft, batteries and controller I was able to fly saved missions in mission planner. 1st, thank you for being so responsive to myself and others. A lot of people use the words "customer service", but you seem to be a living example. Keep up the good...

The upper left hand corner showed I was in "F-mode", but not F-WP as show on the graphic you included in your response.. Never flown waypoints in DJI GO. I have not upgraded firmware, but DJI Go will only tell me that I need update, not what version I currently have.

Mission Planner (FPV Camera – iOS Waypoints App) Available Now

PVFlyer, Purchased and downloaded app this morning from iTunes. After carefully reading the instructions on your web site, I opened and became familiar with both the FPV Camera and Mission Planner portions of the app. I set up two (2) test missions, one Waypoint and one Target WP. Went to local...

Sad Day Indeed had to sell my P3P

Witold, I stand corrected on the cost and you are correct, the brochure pegs the cost of the private pilot training and FAA check ride as $10,345.00. The $55,000.00 not only includes commercial, but certified flight instructor as well. So $20,000.00 (cost of drone, PPL, insurance and other...

Sad Day Indeed had to sell my P3P

As a roadway inspector I started taking photographs from a simple drone about four years ago. I applied simple "common sense" rules to keep away from pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The photos and videos were very useful for monitoring project progress in addition to the ground-level photos...

    P3P Landing Pad Ideas

I just purchased an 18" x 24" x 1/2" polyethylene cutting board from a local restaurant supply store for $13.00. They have in severa colors, but I selected white. Non-metallic, very sturdy, easy to clean, rigid, highly visible. Going to add nylon hardware for leveling. Curious though, the...
