Seriously guys, it has nothing to do with who makes the prop, what it's made out of, or what's stamped on the side. The only thing that matters is balance. If you're unfamiliar with the concepts behind prop balancing, watch this video:

It's very important to verify and correct prop balance for any props you buy. This used to be the norm, but it has gone by the wayside as DJI has been turning out perfectly balanced props from the factory. However, many off-brand props are not balanced. Sometimes you get lucky and get a good...
70 cents to be precise. We started with hand-cut versions, but found they looked unprofessional. This whole thing is a fine line between effectiveness, rigidity, and weight. If it works for your applications, it is definitely worth the price.
Please review it's utility and post any problems...
Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
I got artifacts in my shot for the first time in a long time. Thought I'd tell you about it:
I usually shoot in 1080 Super View. I switched to 1080 at the request of a client. At that aspect ratio, the frame is more limited. I had a...
Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
Thanks everyone for buying a lens hood! They're so popular we sold out of our first batch and just cut a new batch. They're the same, except for a light score along the front edge. This is to address a problem with the H3-3D during...

Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
Feel free to modify it however you want. There is no EULA...you can use it to make nukes and chemical weapons if you want.

Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
This has been addressed. First person to send me how much needs to get cut off gets a free one in the mail when I do that batch.
Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
It looks like the 3D drops the camera a little lower than the 2D because of the slip ring assembly. The "pointing down" isn't present in the 2D startup sequence. It just goes straight to level, then to wherever X1 is set.
My pads...
Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
Cool. That was an unknown until now. I've only tested on my 2D, so any 3D lessons learned are valuable to me.
The whole point of this hood is to aid in capturing good video and preventing scan lines. If you're doing a lot of...
Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba
When the gimbal is off (loose) you can get it to hit the top bracket. That won't happen when the gimbal is on (stabilized) as the range of motion is only 0 to 90 degrees. It won't interfere while in flight. The only situation I could...
