my rf-v16 stopped working back in December when At&t shut down 2g network in my US area.
I ordered a jm13 watch which is a kids 3g gps tracking watch, even has a small camera on it. Running on the H20 at&t 3g network. It weighs about 38g vs the 28g of the rf-v16. The GPS is spot on.

I did a IMU calibration on a level tile floor and got a bad Imu calibration with numbers out of range. There was an metal air duct right under the tile floor, which was causing the high range of numbers.... moved a few feet away and all good.
Super glue will not work.
I had a similar crack develop for no reason. I Used plast-aid by filling the quads arms. Now the arms are rock solid and no worries about cracks or motors falling off
I mounted my 2.4 GHz 14 dBi Flat Panel Range Extender Antenna's on a tripod with 4' cables.
I read that the antenna's need to be spaced apart, so these are about 6".
Raining here so cannot test against the panels side by side.
new style shell with a crack, never crashed and always checked for cracks after each flight. Once this one showed up, I did the plast-aid fill of the arms. The arms are rock solid now with zero flex.
this is know problem with the shells cracking. This is why I went ahead and reinforced all my arms with plast-aid.
removed shell , motors and filled with plast-aid.

in my area which is urban, heavily wooded, wifi, main power transmission lines and cell towers.
all these distances are when I started to get weak video signal and the RC signal was still strong.

I have been testing these 2.4 GHz 14 dBi Flat Panel Range Extender Antennas, unboosted it beats my fpvlr v2 boosted setup. If you have noodle arms dont try this at home.
