So I dug out my old Phantom 2 that I have not flown in a very long time. Batteries are dead. No life in them at all after being on charge for some time.
Do DJI still manufacture these batteries for the P2? Where can I get them? If not, has anyone had any positive experiences with the non-DJI...
Hi all,
I have been contemplating the lack of redundancy built into the DJI Phantom range. In the case of a motor failure mid-flight that aircraft is coming down no question. There are other manufacturers building hexcopters and I am wondering if anyone has any experience of those and whether...
Thanks for your posts. I have purchased a licence for ProDRENALIN. I did a trial for this plus Adobe Premier Elements 13. The Adobe s/w allowed you to perform manual corrections of distortion...however this involved a lot of messing about trying to get a straight horizon and never being quite...
I was wondering what people are using to correct the fisheye effect on videos produced by the stock camera on the Phantom2 V+ these days? Is there free s/w that does it?
Hi all, so yes it turns out that I made the stupid error of putting the long screws back in. I took these out, put the smaller ones back. One of the three damaged motors appeared to be spinning again leaving two to replace. I have replaced one of them, soldering it into the ESC board. However...
It's a clean case...no metal only plastic and soft foam. The bodywork seems fine with no cracks or sign of any stress. Even if the bodywork had been damaged I see no reason why the rotors would not continue to spin normally as cables, circuit boards all fine. I thought maybe the screws holding...
It seems three out of the four motors are damaged. They appear ok visually. It was a pretty tight case and it looks like it's not supposed to hold the P2V+v3 (taller motors and props perhaps?). I can only assume that the downforce of the lid has cause some internal damage to the motors since...
I bought this for my Phantom:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00K6NP65A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Stored the bird inside for a couple of days (props attached)....went to fly it today and two of the motors are not turning the props and they look screwed. The box...
Agreed it does look that way. However the concept still remains. Hopefully you could mount an additional couple of smart batteries or perhaps (?) the non-smart batteries would still be ok to also use with V+ V3?
I want 45 minutes out of this!!!??
Hi folks.
Check this out: http://www.helipal.com/external-battery ... antom.html
I thought mounting multiple batteries would be an obvious solution? Anyone have any experience with this? The page does not state whether the 3rd (normal internal-fit) battery could also be used with this rig.
