Can the Hero 4 be used with the H3-3d gimbal on the P2? I have an older Hero 3 Silver. I'm looking at finding a used Hero 3 Plus, Black. But if the 4 will work with my gimbal, I would rather have it, don't ya think? Thanks! Newtman

Thanks for the input. I did not switch out the screws when I had the prop guards off. I did check the magnetization on the screws and sure enough, they were magnetized. I am going out of town on Tues. I will wait to see if the magnetization is gone when I get back on Saturday. I will check...

I think I may have figured this out. When I removed the motor screws to re-install the prop guards, I put the screws in a nifty metal plate that I got with a dremel type tool. The plate was magnetized. At the time, I thought this was great because I didn't have to worry about the screws...

My Phantom 2 does not have the circular cut-out on its belly. How do I fit an H3-2d to it? I thought I remembered reading about an 'extender' plate for Phantom 2's like mine. However, I can't find any information about one now. Could someone please offer some guidance? Thanks in advance. Newtman

I understand that the Phantom will return home automatically if it flies outside the "control" of the Transmitter if conditions are right. Does special programming have to be done in order to be able to manually "bring it home"?
