I know of a friend who had a much less expensive drone and it doesn't have a camera etc... It went lost in the wind and he found it at night due to the lights flashing. Might help.... I'm so sorry to hear of this fly off and it scares the crap out of me as I too have a lot invested.

I wonder if you delete the DJI GO app. And reinstall it if that would help. Maybe there is some glitch in the program.

You will find that you will want more distance under certain situations. Basically people who have done the mod are always comparing distances and getting familiar with what the bird is capable after the mod and certain weather conditions.

Ok I'll give it a try..... I wasn't sure if I was going to have to change the mount or not. I did buy a jelly fish but I think I need to change the actual mount to make that work. Might even need a gimbal.
