Mine was posted 1/24/2016. My problem is I have spent a gazzilion dollars on my license/certificate (slight exaggeration) and I don't want to jeopardize it. If I was not worried about keeping my pilot's license I also would say screw those guys and fly it whenever and wherever I wanted...

A while back I was out practicing, and had a hawk head towards my bird and was about to challenge me. Well I brought it down as fast as I could and moved on. So far have not had that happen with humans, but I will give the hawk the airspace that he claimed.

My 333 is still pending and I am a licensed pilot. I do wonder how many of those requests I see will actually follow the rules and have a licensed pilot as PIC. In my many years of dealing with the FAA they do move slowly (except when restricting something).

Sounds like every conversation I have had with my local tower.

Thanks for the heads-up. I am getting on a plane to Lima in a few days, I was planning on taking my P3, for some amazing footage. I have not seen a lot of video from Peru posted, I hoped to get some good video. Looks like I will have to cancel that.

I am not sure the i7 is a huge improvement over the i5. I suspect RAM is a bigger issue, but cpu always counts.

So I am a few days in. I am using the Adobe products and I am having fun with it. Processing and rendering is a little slower then I expected but not horrible. I am using an i7 with 12GB of ram which seems doable. This is my first time working with video, I have always been a photo guy so...

Yes that is a current and basically permanent no fly area over our former President's house.

I am Windows PC based. Based on two recommendations I will check out Adobe Premier.

What is the recommended PC based video editing software for the higher quality video that I can pull off of the memory card. I am wanting to use this for professional use.

Sounds like I have a very long time to wait, since I just put mine in this week. The FAA will go at their own pace.
