Thought I would share this video, I was out camping with mates and still honing my skills with flying my Phantom. In this video I even managed to capture some lightning at sunset which I never knew about until I viewed the video on large screen.
I also hand caught for the first time, very easy...
Just tried removing the small star headed screws and there is no way that I am able to budge them, I am afraid I will strip the head so am not going to remove the cover.
That was for a Phantom 2 Vision + V3 with 3 x batteries and $50 configuration. ($AUD)

Just spoke with Ben from raise above and he has confirmed that they have new ESC's V2.1 so he has stated that DJI must be aware of an issue, I mentioned to him about warranty if I remove the shell and was given the quote that there is no way they could tell the shell had been removed so it would...
They are an authorised dealer shouldn't this mean that they have the same QC guidelines?
But I will have a look and see what ESC's it has.
Cheers

It was http://www.riseaboveaerials.com.au fast service and good customer service as I ordered the ordinary Phantom 2+ instead of the v3 and was able to change the order quickly. And they delivered to Jabiru NT within a week.
Yes I think I will have to start practising my panning, I think I was just too impressed in how it handled and forgot to slow down. But thats what a test flight is for, seeing what it can do. Next flight I should be able to concentrate a bit more on technique.
Cheers mate, I know its a bit boring but thought it was good to record my first attempts. We are restricted to 400ft unfortunately so 1000 is out of the question for now. Panning is interesting and I now realise how slow I need to go. Keen on more test flights on my next week off.
